Bio

Welcome to Play With Paint! I'm Breanna, a multi-hyphen creative from San Jose, California. I'm a self-taught artist with a passion for exploring various artistic mediums, including jewelry making, woodwork, painting, and sewing.

My artistic journey began with a relentless curiosity, pushing me to delve into different forms of creative expression. Alongside my diverse skill set, I attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, where I further honed my artistic abilities and gained valuable knowledge in the world of design.

Collaboration lies at the heart of my artistic process, and I've had the incredible opportunity to work with numerous talented artists in the vibrant Bay Area arts scene. One notable collaboration includes joining forces with the renowned artist Kehlani, a celebrated figure in the music industry who also has a strong connection to visual art. My art  has also been featured in Elite Daily by G- Eazy for an interview he did. Together, we blended our unique styles and perspectives to create something truly remarkable.

Play With Paint is my way of adding the color back into the world. Our world is dominated (around 60%) by objects, items, and materials that are either black, white, or gray. All of my art works feature vibrate colors that capture the eye and envoke emotions.

When I'm not immersed in my creative endeavors, you can find me cheering on my favorite sports teams. I'm a devoted fan of the Lakers, Oakland A's, Raiders, and Sharks, finding inspiration in the energy and determination displayed by athletes.

Beyond my artistic pursuits, I lead a well-rounded life, engaging in other activities and hobbies that fuel my creativity and provide a balanced perspective.

Join me on this artistic journey as we paint, create, and celebrate the beauty of self-expression.
